Next election, we need to vote in Councillors who will agree to a two-term limit, and who will cut salaries, pensions and benefits to Councillors. The current crop, other than Farkas and occasionally Chu, are the greediest trough-suckers that it has ever been my misfortune to watch in action. They have no clue on how to budget or how to run the City of Calgary.

The Mayor and counsellors except Mr. Farcus should step down. If we’re going to spending more Tax dollars, I have no problem spending it on an. Election .

Anything would be better than what we have. 70 and still working because I have to. I can't afford a flames game new arena or old and don't ride a bike. Perhaps a new council could give the same attention to sidewalks as they do bike paths.

Calgarians look to the Mayor and City Councillors to spend their tax dollars responsibly for the benefit and needs of City residents. This Council seems more interested in spending on grand projects which the city cannot afford at the moment. They should be cutting down on the excesses at City Hall before cutting on essential services that Calgarians rely on. Jeremy Farkas and Sean Chu are the only two Councillors who really care about the citizens of Calgary - kudos to both, keep it up fellas we need more like you!

Tine for some serious fat trimming, and need the right leadership to do it. Tough love to the department Heads, and if it's an issue, show them the door. The Fire Department can stop driving the 3 million dollar pumper truck to the grocery store or for coffee at Anaolog,... or to a fender bender to sweep up kitty litter. Yikes, grow some !!

We need leadership that will not look at what they want, or what they think we as Calgarians would want. We need leadership that will listen to us and the concerns we have. When we're asked for our opinions and ideas. Don't just ask for the hell of it and to make yourself look like you care. Ask because you do genuinely care and take what we say into consideration. If what we suggest won't work, be honest and don't lie; tell us why and maybe Calgarians won't look at that the city council or Nenshi as a bunch of lieing fools. In general my opinion; we need leadership that will be honest and trust worthy when it comes to finance; someone who is loyal, respectful, amongst many other things. I know no one is perfect, but there has got to be better leadership out there than what we have. I mean, instead of spending (who's money??) on what Nenshi wants or thinks we want; either put the money towards what needs it or try "COMMUNICATING" with Calgarians!

no leadership from elected officials. there needs to be a recall or similar to force these irresponsible ones out now. They don't represent the businesses that feed the people that pay the taxes.

Time for Calgarians to wake up and for council to realize it's about needs not wants.

Hold a new election. This time, get the UN in to monitor it! And while we are at it, limit it to only ONE person running against the current incumbent! There were 6 or 7 others running in Big Red's riding last time around. She keeps getting voted in because of a vote split! I suspect this it true in many other ridings too.

Keep up the good work Mr. Farkas and Mr. Chu! Nenshi has the same mentality as Notley and we all know how that turned out!

Madness. Absolute madness. Time to clean house and get rid of this mayor and councillors who have no idea how to budget let alone understand the word.
