Please maintain the current 30 bus series along Wisconsin Ave. This is essential transportation in the neighborhood and services areas the metro does not reach.

We already don't have a metro stop in our well-populated neighborhood - and another condo building is being built! We need transportation! DC wants to have less cars on the road - which means we must have public transportation. We've lost Whole Foods which means more people need to travel just to get groceries. And already MANY people in Glover Park commute to work via Metro bus. We need to have these bus routes continued! Thank you, Ann Casso

The 30 bus routes provide invaluable service to communities. Do not shut them down. They are much needed by all levels of society who depend upon them for children and college students to attend class and working people to get to work across the District.

Dear Metro: You are taking the public transit lifeblood out of Glover Park. You cant cut the D1/D2 and the 30 buses. What buses will serve Burleith and Gliver Park to get to downtown Pennslyvania Ave. OR the Dupont Circle Metro. You are asking residents to use their cars on Wisconsin Ave and M street. Or any crosstown on P Street.

I use the 30N and 30S buses to reach the National Mall and Capitol Hill. They are the only buses connecting the NW and SE. Many people depend on them to commute to work. For residents of Glover Park the only means to reach a Metro line is via the 30 buses or the D1 and D2 lines. My daily work commute is with the D2 and my grocery shopping, doctors visits, museum trips, with the 30 buses. Eliminating any of these lines will negatively impact a great deal of people, and increase the number of people driving to work due to lack of public transportation. A well-run, efficient and climate change mindful city will increase and facilitate public transportation, not eliminate it. Prove DC is such a city and stop these nonsensical bus cuts!

Please remember that Duke Ellington students use the D2 to get to school, as well as kids traveling to Hardy and Basis. Also the 30 buses are taken by students to Wilson. Many students have early morning and after school activities and sports and would be stranded

Many people depend on these bus routes in a neighborhood that lacks a Metro train station. We need robust public transit options for those with and without cars. We need to do as much as possible to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure everyone has access to safe, affordable and RELIABLE public transportation.

So many neighbors DEPEND on these buses - Please do not eliminate these routes and if they must go, find a better replacement plan! People NEED to get to work that cannot otherwise get there.
