No the time slot for David Burns is for people who both sides of the Humber listen to a local guy, who has always had a foot on each side of the Humber. This man has helped both young and old with their problems. So his time is up, well so is yours as soon as David goes so do I.

So you’ve axed Humberside’s favour person at Radio Humberside. Bring back David Burns, he has been the voice for both sides of the Humber. Getting results for his listeners when they have been desperate. Being the forerunner to promote and get recognition for local famous people and places. I personally will not listen to radio Humberside when he’s not on the radio.

"Let's get tucked into it" was always the start of my afternoon listening to Burnsy and co especially as I gave up being a season ticket holder ....I feel truly very sad ..and will not be listening to the commentary on the rival station . I doubt if this petition will make a difference, however just wanted Burnsy and .swanny to know they were part of my Saturdays! And will miss them muchly x

I have to work on some match days and rely on good comentry from the guys, they make the whole experience enjoyable. Hull city have overstepped the mark and need to put it right, turning the fans against city is not a good idea bring back burns know .

With the Allam's in charge I don't travel over to Hull for games any more. Burnsey's excellent coverage keeps me in touch.

Who are these faceless people with no common sense ? Don't they research the area and/or the listeners ? Burnsy is a legend, a fair/firm/brilliant Interviewer and Broadcaster. Why get rid of this true professional and leave other inane people whose performance is inadequate/sloppy and inempt ?
