I spent the entire morning staring at the local news reports about student overcrowding and honestly it just makes my head spin thinking about all these kids having nowhere to go. People keep stopping me at the shop to ask if there is any news yet and I really wish I had something better to say than just waiting for a call that never seems to come. It feels like such a long road but I am still here at my desk writing letters to anyone who will listen because our children deserve so much better than this.

I honestly cannot believe how many people are standing up for Burnholme right now because it gives me real hope that we might actually stop this madness. Seeing all these names pouring in makes me feel like maybe they actually have to listen to us instead of just locking the doors and pretending none of this matters.

My son went here and he thrived because of the smaller classes. You cant just shut a school that works for kids who struggle in those massive environments. Keep it open for the local families.
Ridiculous idea. Where are all these kids supposed to go if this shuts? The other schools are packed already. Think about the travel time for the kids living round here.

Burnholme is the heart of our community. Please dont do this to our children.
