Please let common sense and reason rise above first reaction imbalance and realize the actual circumstances here. Thus poor dog was put under terrible strain, with lack if caution or reasonable precautions taken. To make him pay for something that humans and caretakers of both dog and child should have been over seeing IS ADDING WRONG TO WRONG!! And cruel punishment. God help all involved and let compassion rule over initial fear.

Buck definitely needs another chance! Please give him that chance!

I believe this dog deserves a second chance at life and a happy home. Buck shouldn't have been let go from the shelter without a rabies shot and especially the day after getting neutered!!! When I adopted a kitten, I wasn't allowed to take her home until after she was healed from getting spayed. Why wasn't it that way with Buck and why was it ok to let him go without a rabies vaccination?

It seems he really deserves another chance based on the information provided. I don't understand how he was adopted so quickly after surgery and then without a rabies shot? He should be allowed to be pulled by a certified rescue that can evaluate his temperment prior to adoption.
