TEA lounge was keeping us all together, next to the coop. What is next? Starbucks?

Tea Lounge was a great meeting place, with many fond memories. Let's revive it and create a community center. It would be a big loss for the neighborhood not to have it.

I will dearly miss it, the Tea Lounge was one of the very few places I have an emotional attachment in the entire city.

Look forward to a new Chase Bank. This was a unique institution where a racially diverse crowd hung out to see comedy and music and just generally hung out. A sociological study could have used this place as a template for racial harmony and progress. It's the only place where you could watch Jazz or just drink coffee with a Hasidic Jew on your left an African American too your right and not a single stroller mom in the place. Too bad, this place was a microcosm of racial and social progress.

Great opportunity for a Meeting House! Very interested in sharing a co-working space there.

Tea Lounge is a place where a community meets and expands itself. The ever burgeoning ideas are ever flowing and this is a great place to keep everyone together. WIthout it the gentrification of the area is ever apparent.

This place was the best in the winter. There's nowhere else like it. (And if there is, please let me know)

Already there are too few places where one can go to eat, drink, and work as though they were in the comfort of their own apt, but without the distractions. We need the Tea Lounge to survive. It benefits the community in so many ways and it would be a tragedy to lost it. Thank you.

Tea Lounge has supported live music, including new and experimental work and student recitals, for many years. As a meeting and listening space, it is a precious resource for the Park Slope community.

This place was my unemployment haven. I went here for weeks after being let go to send emails, send applications and spend my days staying productive. I always ordered lunch and felt that I had to give back to the place.
