What else are they planning. A legal challenge to Ritz biscuits. Clowns!
Can only generate negative publicity.

If anything what they are doing is a massive insult to their guests and visitors, basically calling them thick if they can't differentiate between a world famous hotel in the capital, and a dance floor in a small northern town!

Are they going to make all other venues having Ritz in their names change as well???
IF NOT WHY NOT???
There are quite a few looking on a
Facebook search.
I could understand it more if our Ritz was in London but we're 200 miles away.
What about the song Putting on the Ritz are these words going to have to change???
It really is pathetic to think that anyone could mistake ours for theirs.
It doesn't cost £54 for afternoon tea in Brighouse!!!

Typical bullying by a large business.
They must be insecure about their name, if a little venue like this, causes them to take legal action after 80 years.

How ridiculous - and greedy - of The Ritz in London - to claim that they are bothered by this little venue in the North of England. It does not attract anything like the same clientele, the website is quite different, even the name on the website is different. This is pure Trumpish megalomania.
