this venue has been in Brighouse many,many years. In no way does it look like or compete with the hotel in London. This is a venue for the local area, one of the few places to hold dances nowadays. Don't be petty RITZ HOTEL.

Any reasonably minded individual would not confuse the Ritz London with Brighouse Rirtz. Not caused a problem in last 80 years.
Seems like an exercise in ling the lawyers pockets.

Bullies with money in London THINK they can 'buy' whatever they want! 80 years of trading as Brighouse Ritz BALLROOM should count for something, even with the legal system dominated by old school tie and funny handshake posho's ...... stick to afternoon cream teas & overpriced rooms for your Kensington type clientel Ritz HOTEL, and leave the real world alone, by the way there is one, a real world that is, OUTSIDE of the M25 !!!

The RITZ is an ICON with every soul lover in the country and as nothing to do with the RITZ hotel chain. The Ritz Ballrooms in Brighouse Yorkshire is synonymous in name only. For this massive hotel chain to feel threatened in some way because it has the same name is just plain silly

Only the lawyers & those bringing forcing this petition could be so stupid as to think anyone could confuse Brighouse Ritz being associated with the hotel group - we also realise Ritz biscuits are not part of the group either.
