The Ritz Brighouse, Ritz Ballroom Brighouse, call it what you may, has been a long established business enjoyed by hundreds of people on a regular basis and thousands of people over time. It brings ongoing business into the community with hotels, restaurants, bars and shops benefiting from the trade brought in from the people who attend the Ritz. If this building closes the entire community of Brighouse will suffer. The Ritz Hotel London must not be allowed to 'bully boy' small businesses and communities. Stop this ludicrous action NOW!

Ridiculous .. there are Titz theatres all over England, there's even one close to me in Kettering.

Brighouse Ritz has been the Ritz over 80 years. Its an entertainment concert ballroom. It should be a listed building in my opinion. From picturehouse to dancehall its an iconic building in the town that has always been called the Ritz. It is not a hotel that offers food & lodgings to the rich. Its a place for the working classes to relax & dance. How dare the greedy south try to destroy our place of euphoria. They have no right.
