How can a wee nightclub in the outback of West Yorks affect a top established venue in the heart of London? Beggers belief how someone could bring about this writ forcing closure????

How can it be confused with the hotel. Its had the name for all them years. Some lawyer wanting to earn a large salary. And if it goes to court who will foot the bill tax payers again
Its a disgrace should not be allowed to happen.

I've played this venue many times, it's a great place that needs to stay open to serve the music loving community locally and nationally. This situation is ludicrous and needs to be stopped, the Ritz has every right to use the name as do 100's of other places around the country using the name.

It clearly says "Ritz Ballroom" over the door! And it's in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. How can it possibly be confused?

Another big organisation getting the hump over nothing if there was a problem the name now there should have been a problem 80 years ago. You can never mix them open as ones a hotel and ones a music and ballroom venue. Ritz hotel leave it alone

Isn't there a cracker biscuit called RITZ too. Are they asking them to change it's Name. I've never connected Ritz ballroom Brighouse and Ritz London ever, and why now after all these years are they bothered. Good luck x
