It surprises me that a building that has stood alone without any disruption or challenge for the past 80 yes EIGHTY years, is now being challenged over a mere 4 letters. Someone in London has money to burn if that's such an issue to them, a none threatening issue. May I ask that there attention be directed toward more pressing issues.....Homelessness for example !!

I was dancing to Northern soul at the Ritz ballroom long before I knew about the Ritz hotel.

You cannot compare the Ritz in Brighouse to the one in London and it should not be treated as a threat. Most of the patrons are not privileged enough to visit the true Ritz but we love our local ballroom which has history and a heart. Show some heart and leave it alone!

It's been the Ritz Ballroom as long as I can remember. What right has a hotel in London situated nearly two hundred miles away, to force an institution local to this area to change its name?

If a brand is established for a certain length without challenge of time it should be exempt from future challenge!
