It's been the Ritz forever, it's should be allowed to keep its name, it has never claimed any conection with the London hotel.

Costs of name change could close down this much used and popular music venue. No one assosiates this with the london hotel. Just another stupid red tape clause.

And Ritz crackers are all different things.
My business is called Calder clutch, over the road is Calder gates and at the end of the road is the Calder pub, there is no reason for any of us to change our trading names.
The Ritz in London cant possibly think someone booking there hotel would book a ball room in Brighouse by mistake.

How many years have the ritz hotel London been established and how many years has the ritz ballroom been established!!!!! Come on this is ludicrous. All I can say is the hotel chain must be really in a deep decline if they are really that bothered all of a sudden. Why now for gods sake!!!!!!!!!

The Ritz has been a named business in Brighouse for ever. It needs to stay. Isn't it's name 'Ritz Ballroom' not the same as Ritz Hotel '

Come on London ritz you are above all this surley give the lad in brighouse a break he is not making any money out of your name come to West Yorkshire and ask anyone where the ritz is an you will get same answer brighouse they earned their popularity from hard work and meeting. Local needs you must of started out small rise above it be magnanimous or I will never darken your posh door step

I think it's disgraceful that the Ritz hotel London has suddenly decided, after the Ritz ballroom in Brighouse which has been a Ritz cinema before being a ballroom and had that name for over 80 years, that only the hotel should be called Ritz!!
