This is the Ritz Ballroom, it is not a 'HOTEL.' There is no confusion as the two places are separated by hundreds of miles. Ritz hotel get a grip of yourself instead of causing harm to this venue why not sponsor them as they have made a proud name for themselves and are well known nation wide.

So so cross. Done a little research on it. A place in Kettering had the same problem with this certain hotel. Not sure on the outcome but I am blinking livid. Who do they think they are?

There are loads of Ritz's (nightclubs, ballrooms and cinemas) across the UK - can you argue the name's become generic? Have you considerded contacting other Ritz's (they'll be under threat just as much as you)?

I've had dance lessons at the Ritz in brighouse would be such a shame if it had to close.
