If you fight this to no avail, please consider setting up a crowdfunding page to help cover your costs and/or the cost of a new domain name. I would happily donate some of my (little) money to save such a local landmark. #YorkshirePride

It isn't a hotel and doesn't even look like the Ritz Hotel in London. If they are being this awkward, I'm surprised they aren't also after Ritz crackers for also sharing that Ritz name. The Ritz Hotel just needs to get real!!!

Clearly no-one will confuse Brighouse Ballroom with a hotel in London. This is just stupid on behalf of the Ritz Hotel.

Why after 80 years, a whole generation do they want to be so petty? The Ritz Ballroom is a landmark of Brighouse and people come from all over to visit. They are two separate institutions and after 80 years, they should be allowed to keep their name and London need to man up!!!

It's been that name for 80 years. Surely they can't expect them to change it. I think people will know the difference.

How ridiculous of the Ritz in London I remember Harrods doing something similar with a shop in Leeds market. How could anyone confuse them. Poles apart

Has the Queen tried to bully all those businesses with the name Buckingham in their business names?..... NO! Call off your bully boy solicitors and trade in the real world. This particular Ritz is no competitor of yours.
Ridiculous
