I don't see why the name should change. I can afford this Ritz. I can't afford the one in London. There's absolutely no chance of any confusion.

The Ritz in Brighouse needs to stay The Ritz.
Why challenge the name now?
The Ritz Brighouse is not the Ritz London.
No more clues now!!!
The London one must be struggling for publicity and possibly business?

How ridiclous the Ritz Ballroom is never going to be mistaken for the one in London, it's far superior.

A disgraceful attempt at corporate bullying tactics by an overpriced B&B down in the oh-so-important London. Has this little dance hall really got so much more appeal than their hotel that it's got them resorting to these measures - it would appear so.

As usual, the little people get bullied and the lawyers get richer. Hopefully common sense will prevail. They are over 200 miles apart, one is a hotel and one is a ballroom, how can the activities of one possibly affect the other? Total nonsense.

Perhaps The Ritz Hotel's time and efforts would be better focused on improving their own offerings in London before looking further afield. The Ritz Ballroom in Brighouse offers absolutely no threat to The Ritz Hotel in London. Just another case of bully boy tactics, it's absolutely disgusting.

Crazy situation. Used to be loads of Ritz cinemas. What about the crackers or do they fraudulently claim to have invented those too.

The Ritz Cinema was there when I was a young girl and deserves its name to stay. All through the war years it kept us entertained when the world was falling apart. I live fairly close to the Ritz in London and the Ritz in Brighouse is small fry compared to grand exclusive one off Piccadilly. What harm can a small town entertainment hall do to a Majestic Place like the London Ritz.
