In Carlton Nottinghamshire there was a cinema called Ritz for as long as I can remember and I'm nearly 70years old, it's no on the Ritz in London is completely different to the one in Brighouse, let's hope the people in London see sense.

Petty bullying from a company that should know better. After 80 years, this should not be an issue. They obviously do not possess the class they claim to have.

I put apostrophes around the word Ritz because I'm quoting from what it has always been named. There aren't any and never have been any apostrophes elsewhere in the statement.
Over 1,300 comments and one person complains about my English and even then sees things that aren't there.

As has been said if it were areal treat to their business, then fair enough, but it isn't fair, it's petty and to be pursuing this puts The Ritz London in a very poor light, being mean spirited. This needn't had got this far The Ritz London could have been less trigger happy and used a dose of common sense.

Don't give in to the bully tactics of an over zealous company.
Common sense must prevail and we all need to take a stand.

This is shameful and ridiculous. Long live Ritz Ballroom, this has been a fixture in my home town and is always a welcome sight when visiting family. My mum used to tell me stories of going here in her younger years. This cannot be allowed to happen. Bloody Ritz Hotel can done and change their own name!

Typical of the Barclay brothers to pick on someone small. How many people would confuse this with the Ritz Hotel - "Oops where am I? This isn't the West End, this is Brighouse...!"). Whoever posted this petition would maybe make more of an effect without the idiotic apostrophes in "it's name for 80 years" "Even it's website.." - if you want the best chance to succeed, get the English right!
Watch out Ritz crackers you will be next.
Shame a law firm can't take this case on pro bono
