WHY is the Ritz hotel doing this?
Out of badness?
The precedent has already been set, for 80 years!
There is no way that the BALLROOM could be confused with the HOTEL!
What about the myriad of other Ritz businesses throughout the country?
Logically, the hotel would now have to take action to close them all!

As a child I used to go to this cinema and we always knew it as the Ritz.When I go to Brighouse now I still feel pleased to see Ritz above its doors and there is no way it could be confused with the Ritz in London.Leave it alone it is doing no harm but making people like myself happy to see it just as it is with the name i remember.
