Thousands of businesses are called Ritz. None of them could ever be confused with The Ritz Hotel. If it hasn't bothered the hotel for 80 years, why is it an issue now?

This is just silly. The ballroom poses no threat to the hotel's business or identity now, any more than it has done for many years.

The Ritz Ballroom in Brighouse is unique having been there for 80 years, surely common sense will prevail in this crazy bully boy world.

Shame on you Ritz Hotel for big bullying one of our local treasures. You are only blackening your name and threatening closing of one of our landmarks. You are the ones looking stupid and I hope this goes national!

I have attended several events over the years. What a ridiculous situation to have arisen when many local and northern region people have supported this iconic venue over many years. Beat the bully.!

How pathetic of the Ritz in London. There has always been Ritz Cinema's as well has the Ballroom. Why after 80 years and over have they decided
to do such a stupid thing. Hasn't the hotel anything better to do than.

This is madness and nothing more than grotesque bullying by the London elite. Good luck with the fight
