The Brass Monkey He idea berg cannot be forced to close. This bar has many great memories for me and many I know. To rule in favour of tenants that moved in knowing it was over a bar, is idiotic, unjust and reckless to those trying to make a living and provide for their family. If these people didn't like heights...would they live in a penthouse. If they didn't like the smell of bread...would they live next to bakery. If they want quite. ..fuck out to the country side. don't live over a bar in a city where night life happens. I honestly don't know which is worse, the plaintiffs or those backing them. Good luck Brass Monkey!! Power to the people.

Very welcoming pub with an excellent atmosphere. Easily one of the best in Heidelberg with events for both local people and the international community. The Altstadt wouldn't be the same without it. I don't understand how someone can deliberately move to an apartment above a pub and complain about noise.
