Absolutely appalling. This young mother has struggled and seen so much trauma and still was beating the odds by forming a successful nursing relationship and standing up against the mutilation of her baby boy. That's more than many women can say. She had also struggled to feed her baby breastmilk, while being FORCED to pump every 2 hours and bottle feed instead of nursing her infant. They are trying to destroy their bond. If the state is allowed to forced this circumcision, I have no doubt that this infant will be broken beyond repair. After being ripped from his mother's arms, forced fed breastmilk instead of being allowed to nurse and bond with mom, this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. And it is exactly what the state wants.

This young woman is doing the best she can with her circumstances. This government agency is making a mockery of its so-called concern for this infant and the two minors they have kidnapped. As they are being held against their will and in deplorable condition, it sounds more like egos of certain government employees making these bad decisions, rather than true concern for their welfare. Forced circumcision, against the mother's will, is abuse. Let them go!

What a shame that Alabama DHR has taken this wonderful experience of being a new mom away from this girl no matter her age. America is a free country with freedom of rights! This seems illegal to take those rights from this girl and her family. Give them their rights back please!!!!

What a disgusting, fraudulent organisation to want to force an archaic, deliberately injurious, unnecessary procedure on a non-consenting individual.
