I believe that it should be the parents right to choose not the government's. No one should be able to foce you to put something in your body or your child's. We have basic human rights and they are trying to take that from us and it's not right and should not be allowed.

I hope and pray that baby and his mother and uncle get returned to the grandparents. I hope and pray that they do nor circumsize that little boy. One of my children is not circumsized. If I can do anything please let me know.

You have got to let this young mother and baby learn and bond in their own. Curcumcision is not necessary. And for goodness sakes no one needs to eat ever 2 hours around the clock. Newborn tummies are tiny! Good grief! These DHR people are harming this family. Babies eat when hungry and both mom and babe need rest!

Alabama, get up to date with your medical info. Circumcision is not a medical necessity. It permanently removes nerve endings which forever alters the person. It is no longer a standard procedure in many oarts of yhe country nor is it a routine recommendation by the American Pediatric Association. Update your facts. Don't cause a permanent surgical change to a child temporarily in your custody!
