As someone born and raised in Alabama, I am so disappointed to hear that my state would treat this family (and probably others) in such a fashion. That poor mom has been through enough and all the Social Workers are doing is mentally messing up the baby (and mom)!

This is an outrage. This child belongs with the family and should br returned immediately to the family. This child along with the fsmily has already been traumatized, abused and damaged. You are a disgrace to the freedoms thst people fought and died for. Ypu are a disgrace to the constitution by taking human rights , freedom and safety away from a family. The only right decision is to return this child to the family andalonee them alone. This is not hidden and eill not go away since the entire country is aware of what Alabama had done. They might not have financial means but they have a world of people watching , horrified and disgusted .

It is an unnecessary cosmetic procedure. It has so many risks including death. It is also recommended by doctors, psychologists, and many others that it shouldn't be done. That it does affect the newborn.
