The AAP does not even recommend routine infant circumcision. The evidence of any benefit from it is controversial at best, yet there has been plenty of evidence of harm caused by it, both physically and neurologically. It forever changes the brains of infants. This family has been abused by the system enough. Do not risk this infant's life, his penis, and his future sex life, plus his breastfeeding relationship with his mother, just to prove that you have power over this family!

This is so wrong!!! The poor mother and baby. Stay strong. Keep breastfeeding if you can. Don't let that Doctor near the baby!!! This is just horrible. The mother says no, her doctor says no, the grandparents support her and the state feels they know what's right ... This is just horrible ! I'm so sorry. I hope you get to keep your son intact.
That shouldn't even be a hope. That should be automatic if you decide to not have it done.
