Please do NOT cut this baby and give him back his mother and family!!!! He deserves to keep his whole body and bond with his mother. Let HIM decide for HIMSELF if he wants a piece of his body cut off. I have two boys who are 12 and 7 years old and neither one has EVER had a problem with their intact bodies. When told what circumcision is, they have repeatedly thanked me for allowing them to keep their whole bodies and not putting them through the excruciating pain. Braelen deserves his rights to his own body, and the mother deserves to have her baby with her.

The state has no right to take this baby from his mom no matter her age. Instead of punishing the mom and baby for being victims of a rape...HELP them. Provide a safe environment for this young mom and her son, offer parenting classes, continued schooling, etc.

Child social services agencies are run by imperfect people all over the country. I have personally been connected to families who have had social services examine them for no good reason and have been accused of abuse, when hospital error was truly what was going on. I have also been in situations where children should have been taken away from abusive families and they were not. Only when the parents are proven to be a abusive and not able to take care of their child (for example because of drug addictions) should they be put up for adoption. From all information that I have received, baby Braelon's family has been targeted by people who jumped to conclusions or were trying to receive state funding. I pray that DHR will have the humility to admit that they were wrong in this case and return these children to the people who love them.

This is SO illegal. Obviously someone at the DHS is pro circumcision and using this mother and HER child to promote THEIR beliefs.
