Don't you think this young lady has been through enough?? Being raped at 14, giving birth pales in comparison to what they are doing to her and her baby, as well as family.
Grandparents have rights too!! This is a sad example of how a family can be torn apart for no good reason.

The state should never be allowed to force a medical procedure on anyone. What happened to informed consent? More babies die of complication from circumcision each year than ever have from remaining intact.

It is not the Governments place to force a permanent genital surgery on a newborn. If the parent does not wish for it to be done, then there should be no further discussion. If my husband, son, and most of the world can live without being circumcised and be happy about it, so can anyone else.

There is no valid reason in this day and age to mutilate the genitals of a helpless child. Allow this newborn boy to maintain his bodily autonomy and let him decide when he is an adult whether or not he wants to amputate a piece of his penis.

This story is so heartbreaking. She is the mother, she makes those decisions for her baby period! The state needs to go take kids away who are in dangerous situations and leave mothers like this one alone. This is sick and wrong to put an infant in danger. Does anyone realize that a baby needs warm and comfort from their mother? They have absolutely no right to do what they have done and on top of their stupidity on ha felling decisions with the child, the mother is in custody for no reason? Really? And her family taken away from her why? And her phone taken so she holds pictures to one day show her baby and anyone else? How can people even justify the torchur they have put her and her family through?
