The state has NO rights over this baby. Thus is cruel, unfair treatment and this baby and mother deserve to be together and should never have been separated in the first place.

No child should go through an unnecessary surgery, especially without parental consent. DHR should not be making these decisions unless there is a clear and immediate danger to the child if the surgery is not done.

Circumcising a healthy newborn us never necessary and should never be done. When a mother begs and pleads for doctor's NOT to circumcise her child they should listen and just not continue. This is the mother and she is clearly not consenting legal or not it unethical to circumcise this child knowing how much the mother does NOT want it done. This young mim has been through so much, her body has been violated by so many people from a sexual assault to being dehumanized by CPS. Now she isn't allowed to have a say when it comes to her own child. As a former foster child I am flabbergasted by what's going on. I had good homes and good workers I like to stand up and show how cos can and does do good for their kids. This tho this is just to much and not excusable

How can you force a medically unnecessary cosmetic procedure on an infant? The child is no danger from his birth mother based on the information provided.
