This girl has done no wrong and has support and help from her grand parents to help raise this child!! Why are the cps and State of Alabama doing this too her?!?! It's the mothers decision if she wants to circumsize or not, along with if she wants to bottle feed or breast feed! If this was an older mother you all wouldn't be doing this to them!! This girl has already been through so much being raped an all and you all are just making the whole situation worse!!! Shame on you cps and Alabama!! Families in this country supposedly have the right to make medically informed decisions about their babies' health. The state of Alabama and its DHR department have no business being in this issue at all. Please go investigate REAL cases of neglect or abuse--God knows we have plenty! This poor mother has been through enough. Leave her alone. This makes me ashamed of the state of Alabama.

Forcing any female to circumcise a child is ludicrous, but kidnapping a young mother and her child and keeping them prisoners is CRIMINAL! She should be praised for choosing to have and keep her child, this is disgusting and those responsible should be thrown out of office, fired from the force for the officers, and the obviously money hungry doctor needs to loose her licences to practice.
