I would seriously hope, as a nurse, that we can move beyond this barbaric practice of forced genital mutilation. Has anyone ever been to first-world countries in Europe where this is an irregular and abnormal practice? Get with the times--and the evidence!

You have no right tip hold these people and the baby. You absolutely have no right to vaccinate nor circumcise the infant without parental permission. We do NOT live in Nazi Germany!

Blessings to this mother and her baby boy. If the mother's wishes are ignored, this is a cruel system indeed. Circumcision is an unnecessary medical practice, and the mother's wishes MUST be respected if she chooses to forego the procedure. Sending hugs.

This is abhorrent! There is no medical reason to circumcise him right now. To order circumcision is a violation of the child's human rights to bodily integrity as well as a slap in the face to his mother!

This is outrageous! What the state is doing is downright EVIL!! This poor family!! Who has a right to pull this kind of BS on a rape victim? Young lady and her grandparents?? Where is a lawyer screening for her rights??? I hope the state has to do some pretty serious ass kissing and crow eating!! This just burns me up!

This is outrageous...she was on the right path to give that child it's best chance in life. Give her and her child back and then step away!! I know first hand what kind of filth is in the foster system!!! Nobody deserves to be in it!!certainly not if they already have a safe, caring home already!!!!
