there is no reason why that baby should have been taken from his mother, and there is no reason why the girl and her brother should have been taken from their family home. there are also rights each person has. there are no court documents relinquishing the mother of her rights to her baby, therefore dhr should not have deciding factor to surgically alter the infants genitalia. all three of these children should be released to their care takers. and dhr should be heavily fined for this complete disregard for human rights as well as be sued by the family for the emotional turmoil and sickness that has occured during their unwanted or unneeded involvement with this family past previous involvement in years prior. this case is beyond sick and disturbing! and dhr should be ashamed of themself! they are supposed to protect the well being of these children not harvest their off spring, product of rape, for profit! the hospital should also be fined and sued for the disregard of patient privacy rights, along with violation of human rights! I truly hope this family gets justice and to return home happy, healthy, and intact!

Clearly you don't realize that you have the eye's of the world watching this despicable crime happening! ! I had to double check to see if I was still in America, do you realize how many laws have been broken? ! Do you even know what the constitution is ?! To take a 14 year old rape victims 2 day old baby away without merit or a warrant is against the law! !! Not to mention barbaric! The entire group of officials that were supposed to be looking out for this child have failed her in every capacity! What kind of police dept asks a rapist to submit dna at the very hospital where his victim was! ? To worsen the situation the hospital security failed to provide her protection by allowing rapist into her room ! He has been charged with rape for the 4th time now ! If his first victim had been believed & the rapist charged there would be NO need for me to sign this petition! !! Let's just call this for what it is, it's a money making machine without any oversight! Dhr makes a great deal of money for these children in state custody and even more if their adopted out ! The grandparents were cleared by dhr a week prior to this kidnapping, so clearly there is no other justification! This infant almost died in state custody but because of his good mothers persistence by threatening to call police the baby was finally treated at the hospital! You tell me how any of these actions have been in the best interest of these children or kept them safe ?!!! A roach & mold infested house without any communication from her family for support is keeping her safe! When I heard that you were forcing this baby to have a circumcision against the mothers will I was outraged !!! The state has absolutely NO right to do that! I hope & pray for this situation to end but knowing what I know about this child trafficking business, I doubt it will! ! This mother has the right to forego a cosmetic surgery such as circumcision. No health organization recommends circumcision and the WHO reports over 70% worldwide are intact. In England it is rare and their men are living happy healthy lives with their intact penis. The foreskin has thousands of nerve endings that result in greater sexual pleasure for both parties involved. It serves as a gliding mechanism and protects the shaft from chaffing and desensitization. The eyelids protect the eyes, the nailbeds protects the nails, the earlobes protects the ear canal, the nose protects the nasal cavity and the foreskin protects the penis shaft. This is basic anatomy.

The reasons behind this "abduction" should be provided. This mother's rights have not been taken by a court of law. She alone should decide on this surgery. I have been watching this case from the beginning and have been in shock that this could really happen in our wonderful country. Make your case or let them go!

The choice of Circumcision should be left up to the owner of the genitals being operated on and no one else. Not the parents and especially not some 3rd party like DHS of Alabama. DHS is suppose to protect our children. Nothing about circumcision is protection for this said child. This teen mother has been through enough trauma before she gave birth to the child choose she chose to give life regardless of how he was conceived. Let this young mother have her child and go be with her family who were standing by her side to make sure she succeeds at being a mother. DHS is wrong on so many levels when it comes to this case.
