The baby should not be circumcised against the mothers wishes. This is by far the worst horrifying story I have ever heard. The mother who chose not to kill life because that baby is apart of her. That had to be the hardest choice of her life. Now everyone is separated because for some messed up reason DHR decided the family was unfit..why? Why? Bring both home!!!

Get that child home. DHR does not get to play judge and jury with the truth. That is no place for a young mother and her newborn to be. And who are THEY to insist on a cosmetic procedure for this child? The whole thing is abhorrent.

These government entities have overstepped their boundaries taking children who are not in danger,then dictating what will become of their lives. This needs to be stopped,and this child and his mother returned to their family.

The only abuse and endangerment this child has seen had been at the hands of DHS. He nearly DIED in custody thanks to the heartless actions of DHS. Release him and his mother NOW!

I stand with you my mother in law god pregnant at 15 because of rape she is amazing mom but they too tried to take her baby she called her mother who drove from md to Georgia and demanded with her lawyer in two to give the baby back and they were leaving with the baby now my husband is 32 years old look like his biological father but is a mommas boy throughout good luck this issue needs to stop I understand the severity of the act that tragically happened against her but now matter how what or when that baby was made to be hers no one elses

I'm appalled by hearing this story, i been working as a human rights advocate in Sweden for majority of my life, however my roots are in St.Paul Minnesota and id never think that such a thing would happen in the country that claims to be "The land of the brave and free" if this is allowed to continue it should be renamed to "The land of the cowards and the chained"
