This mother and her baby have rights that need to be respected. Rather than being forcibly taken into custody, she needs trauma counseling and guidance. This is absolutely unacceptable. She needs to be released immediately, treated with respect and within her rights, and shown compassion.

DHR and the state of Alabama need to be punished for violating this girl and her families rights. They have NOT provided any reasoning or proof as to why they took her baby to begin with. Justice needs to be served and fast.
