This is not a necessary surgery. This b aby has been through so much in such a short time....give it a healthy chance to thrive. He is only a month old.

This little Momma has shown herself to be more mature and knowledgeable than many young Moms much older than her, and there is no reason that her decisions for her son should be overruled - they have been well thought out, and approved by her doctor. It certainly seems like they are trying to wear her down as to prove she's not ready to be a Mom, but she has more than proved herself under horrible circumstances - asking for mercy for this family, because enough is enough...

This should be the mother's decision; stop the circumcision. Give the mother back her full parental rights and return the mother and her brother back to their home. The mother's doctor even agreed it was best not to do the circumcision; regardless, this is an elective surgery. STOP force feeding the baby, allow the mother to respond to her natural instinct about what is best for "her" child.

If its being done against her will, it shouldn't be done. I do think she needs to be more educated about raising a newborn son. Good luck mama!
