I am in full agreement that this baby should not be circumcised if this is not his mother's wishes. She should be allowed to make informed, educated decisions for her child and be respected in those.

The State does this often enough to be considered an evil entity. Babies are stolen for no good reason and placed in foster care, also for no good reason in order to justify the jobs of Social Services. This abuse has to stop. The only reason this child is in this predicament is because she is young, inexperienced and lacks resources and the state knows this. This is reprehensible.

no one should be circumcised its barbaric and causes trauma. let the child grow into an adult and let them decide if they want to adhere to 4000 year ol rituals. dont make that decision for them just because your parents did that to you.

We have a fundamental right to protect our children. We as American citizens do have rights, why are they not being upheld? What would you do if DHR or CPS tried to do this to you and your children? Why are they WAY ABOVE the law everyone else must follow?

This young mom was done a great injustice by having her baby taken away from her. I feel that this mom was a hero for choosing to have and keep her baby, even though he was conceived through rape. Then to have the baby taken from her?? This is wrong on so many levels. This baby must be returned to her immediately. Prayers for the family and a big hug to the mom. You stay strong, and remember, you got many people behind you

Circumcision is an unecessary and damaging cosmetic surgery that should be left to the future man. The mother of the child also doesnt want this done to her child so there is no reason to go through with this.

Genital mutilation aside (though it's obviously horrific), give that poor baby back to his mother. Her age doesn't preclude her being a successful parent.
