This child and her baby are being mishandled by the system and it needs to stop. She needs to be free to make decisions over her child and his health with the same respect as any other mother. No one has the right to take him away or circumcise him or do anything to him against the mother's wishes. This mother and her child are being revictimized and traumatized through the same system that was put in place to protect them.

This is a disgusting act that no baby should ever have to go through. There has been countless accounts of babies dying due to bleeding out and other complications because of this unsanitary and unnecessary procedure. It's parents right, teenager or not, to choose what's best for their child!

Who is being punished here and why?
All of these people- from the social workers to the Judge-- needs more training about the consequences of continually acting to break the bother baby bond.
Even if we have half of the story we know the most important part- THIS BABY IS WANTED. THIS BABY IS LOVED.
This is a human tragedy- heaping trauma
