Baby Braelon and his mother should be released promptly to return to her grandparents care. Neuremberg code of ethics are in violation by forcing Braelon to be circumcised without his mother's consent. The state does not own this baby!!

Nearly everything about this story is horrifyingly Huxley-esque. What's almost worse is that none of the worst details about it surprises me...
The fact that a young teenager is pregnant as a result of rape doesn't surprise me. The fact that this young woman has chosen to keep her baby does slightly surprise me, but more than that, it touches me. The fact that she has been forced to pump and not be allowed to breastfeed is incredibly worrying. The fact that the authorities plan to subject her baby to elective & cosmetic surgery AGAINST THE WILL OF THE BABY'S MOTHER AND HER FAMILY is CRIMINAL.

Just because she is young, doesn't mean you have any right to treat her differently. She has gone through so many struggles, being rape and deciding to keep the baby conceived from her tragic ordeal... This alone proves she is strong willed. What the state is doing to her is wrong and criminal, I hope everyone involved in this crime is punished for their idiotic actions and cruelty.

The truth needs to be known, dhs, the presiding judge, and anyone else involved needs to be held accountable. They need to tell the truth. This girl and her son need to be with family, that is more. Wrong and safe than what dhs has deemed healthy. Shame on them.
