Please don't take away our happy place. I've been coming to this park since 2003 I stay here for the summer, spending my money in stores and so on. I have met many and friends here. I even come and visit them in the winter again spending money. My kids come here and my daughter is supposed be the next owner of the trailer that was left to her when my mom died and her will and I wish to look after it until she was at such a time to be able to take it over I would appreciate it if you could at least consider saving the part. Thank you

Please do not close this park. Many of us that use the park are former Kincardinites who enjoy camping there and enjoy staying connected to our hometown, the community and the people!

As a 18 yr resident of Kincardine I have always come to the area of blue water trailer park with my family and dogs to enjoy the peace nature tranquility of the wonderful sunsets of Lake Huron and strongly urge council to continue to allow use of trailer park for families and generations for our future it’s a legacy and part of Kincardine and should be maintained as such and not donated for any other use please help us keep this piece of our history for the local town and for families and friends to visit stay and camp and enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Lake Huron

I have spent many happy occasions sharing the park with family and friends for years. Itvis such a waste to take this away from them without a solid plan in place.

I am from Canada and I went to Kincardine for 8 summers and we falled in love whith that place.. That little camping is a real treasure, That park should stay there like the way it is now especially for those who live there for how many years...Thanks

I am calling upon the Kincardine Council to reconsider their decision to close Bluewater Trailer Park effective October 2027. This campground, which has been a cherished community space since its donation by Levi and Isabella Rightmeyer in 1882, was intended to be a public park for community enjoyment forever. For over a century, families from across Canada and the United States have gathered here, contributing significantly to our local economy and fostering lasting memories.
The recent decision to close this park not only threatens our recreational space but also undermines the legacy of its benefactor, who envisioned a vibrant area for community use. Councilor Bill Stewart has voiced concerns about the lack of a future plan for the park after its closure, emphasizing the need to maintain this vital community resource.
We believe that every resident of Kincardine deserves a voice in this matter. By signing this petition, we are standing up to protect the values and history of our town, ensuring that Bluewater Trailer Park remains a place for enjoyment and connection for generations to come.

My wife and I come to the Park every year from Michigan. We stay from 3 weeks to 4 months depending on the year. The Park offers the chance to see Kincardine and all the area has to offer. We love walking to town and to the Saturday evening parade. Please do not close the Park. It would be a great loss to Kincardine.
