Save Blackwater Field of Dreams

Why are we even discussing this in the first place! There is so much crime, unsupervised children, child abuse and neglect in this world today. If just one child was saved by this act of kindness, structure and goal driven it is worth every ounce of love applied. I’m so confused about people’s morals anymore!

We move out here to be able to do these things for our families and community. Do not let the voices of a few ruin life for the majority.

I live next to other fields in Blackwater Park and would never imagine complaining about kids playing ball outside my windows. Don’t close any fields because kids need these enriching activities to teach them positive life skills.

What better sound than to hear kids laughing and talking all day!!!!

Tell the neighbor to move

Why would anyone want to stop youths from playing baseball or any other sport that keeps kids out of trouble and forms bonds and friendships in youths. My son played on this field a few times and has nothing but great memories from playing there. The world needs more fields and places like this!

This is absolutely ridiculous. I pray that you guys are able to make a difference.

Let the kids play

I’ve lived in Blackwater my entire life a total of 23yrs. I grew up with my family and friends, and all we did was play and laugh outside. This is an area of open space, fresh air, and peace! A great place for children to laugh and play! We need more love, laughs, smiles, and fun in this world! With everything we have endured this past year, taking away what brings peace, unity, and happiness is path down the wrong road. We all have to bring light to our community, let alone our world. Don’t allow one neighbor to ruin the lives of the children in our Blackwater Community! #BlackwaterWhereWePlay

Please keep the baseball field. I live on Blackwater Loop.

I live on Blackwater Loop and I have a 10 year old daughter. Children are suppose to be laughing, playing, and having fun. Please don't take this away from the children's childhood experience. I think it's great that they are helping our Blackwater community.

Kids are supposed to be kids. Laughing and playing is vital. Keep these fields open for our children.

My son has played on this field several times and it's a true benefit to our community. Kids need space to do "kid stuff" which includes laughing and playing with their friends. The sport of baseball teaches kids teamwork, responsibility, sportsmanship, and a whole host of other qualities that they will carry on in their adult life. It's ridiculous that someone wants to take that away from these young men that will someday be the future of this country.

Kids should be outside playing and laughing. If you don’t like it, move. My own backyard faces a baseball field and it is great to see kids being active, having fun and interacting with their parents.

I live a few houses down from the field, seeing the children playing on the field brings joy to me. If I had kids I would try and see what I could do to get my child on a team. The parents and owners of the field have invested a lot of time in making this happen for the community.

We need more facilities like this for our kids!!

Please allow these kids to continue enjoying this space that was designed for them.

This is ridiculous and anyone who even remotely has an issue with this is what's wrong with this country.
