Shame about Bin Ella's poor hygiene rating and the appalling financial track record but as long as you don't extend credit is fine

I would like to say to the people who object to this fabulous wine bar, 'for Gods sake grow up!'. History tells us that people, buildings and culture grow and change. Let go of the idea that the creek is only to be seen only through sepia coloured spectacles. Life as we know it will NOT come to an end if we have a wine bar on the creek, and nor will it create nuisance, undue noise or traffic snarl ups! Good luck binElla!!!!

binElla is a touch of class that Faversham has been needed for some time. The stylish way the old building has been improved is a good thing and people of Faversham should start to see the better things that places like this brings to any area. Do people just want to see run down buildings then?? What will that do for the economy and THAT is an eyesaw, not a Wine and Champagne Bar that introduces a better clientel to the area which will improve EVERYTHING in the area! I feel that people who are protesting aginest this should take a hobby! Not trying to spoil this business which will affect many people. I would agree with the protesters if the building was ruined or if they were indroducing a bad crowd, but this is not. People should take a longer look at what has been achived and how much work has gone into making a business, which I can tell you is one of the hardest things in life without people complaining as they have nothing better to do. Seriously think what you have done in life and where you are now, and how you got there! If people complained all through their lives, would they be where they are now. Get real people!

I think this is a great way to revitalise a run down part of Faversham and can't see why there should be any objections!

Binella is a well run business which is enjoyed by many local residents, it is good to see this previously derelict building now in a much smarter state

Classy, fun and with a great atmosphere! How such a business can be seen as damaging baffles me. Great to see such a lovely building being used and not standing empty and derelict.

History is not to be pickled in aspic.. This is an excellent use for a building that had been allowed to fall into disrepair now some idiots want to stop history. History changes with each passing day. This building niw has a new life. one day it may have another.

I think this is a wonderful addition to Faversham, extending the wharf area into a very attractive place to spend the evening.

Binella is a well-run wine bar that is a much-needed change to all the pubs in Faversham (which are great) but Binella really brings a nice change and a touch of class to standard quay. It can only enhance and support surrounding businesses as passing trade is shared and as Binella grows, then the Quay does too. There is never trouble, noise, rubbish, litter and I can't see that there is any noticeable difference in traffic (compare traffic to and from the Anchor which used to be so much more, but never a problem). I sincerely hope that the power's that be at swale council have the good sense to see that the small negative group of naysayers who fear change and oppose growth, development, progress and improvement are not the voice of Faversham. We the residents of Faversham relish the prospect of a thriving wine bar that brings life and contributes to economic prosperity to the Quay and surrounding area as well as creating jobs for bar staff, suppliers, musicians etc. Binella is something that we should all support and enjoy.

We should be supporting new business in Faversham not trying to close them down. Binella's offer is different to anything else in faversham and provides a welcome alternative to the other venues.
