Claims were made that Bicester would benefit from extra sports facilities when the new kingsmere sports village was developed. Great to have the sports village, but then Bicester town goes and inevitably other surrounding pitches will follow, so effectively all that has happened is the sports pitches have been moved, and the expanding town has not gained any new pitches at all. We are seriously short of quality outdoor spaces as it is for a town this size, and should have support to have a bigger football club to represent the town.

The town needs an accessible community sports facility that can be reached without need for a car, particularly for the young.

Bicester Garden Town and Bicester Heathy Town has to have green spaces. The sports ground is essential to save if these two designations are not to be merely 'green wash'.

My uncles, brother and son have played many games of football here it would be very sad to see it go :-(.

I moved here from London nearly 30 years ago to a green suburban Bicester. It is now a gridlocked, badly planned and poorly supported mess. What is happening to local view points? Nothing so far....is there a hint of money making corruption???

With obesity rates increasing nationally, physical activity should be encouraged, but this is hard to achieve if our sports grounds have have been developed in to housing estates. Thousands of new homes are planned on the NW Bicester site alone, so this space doesn't need to be developed, and more houses = increased demand for community facilities, so the town will need more, not less. Please leave our sports fields where they are.

If these playing fields go it will be the end of football and rugby in Bicester regarding of relocating. These clubs will close for good. There are enough empty shop units in the town centre itself and Bicester Avenue that need to be used and there are enough homes going up already without having to take the only piece of green fields that will be left soon. Also where is the Bicester carnival going to hold their annual event if you take the playing fields away too??
