It is very sad that Bicester is being denied a town based senior football team due to past issues of which both BTFC and the BSA must share some responsibility, surely its time to draw a line and move on. The facilities are in place for BTFC to return to the Oxford Road ground without too much work being required and would let the team move forward in the right direction, its such a shame that this seasons success, which is a great credit to all those involved, will not be rewarded with the promotion they deserved.
Even if the move back is short term, while equal or better facilities are procured by the BSA as the sale of the ground seems inevitable due to retail power, it would allow the club to plan for the future knowing that their endeavours are not in vain.

To loose a sports facility in the town centre is a disgrace and letting the local community down, not everyone can get out to Chesterton . To say, as in bicester advertiser 2nd June, it is going to be used for retail which is high demand in bicester is contradictory when there are empty units in the town centre.

In a town already struggling to provide sports facilities to its residents the last thing we need is more housing/retail space taking up exiting sports facilities. Bicester needs sports facilities in the town from which a Community Football Club can grow and to which young footballers aspire to play when they are older.

Been as individuals paid collectively to buy the sports pitches. Should it be sold for building, the money received should be repaid to family of contributors or given back to a public Bicester project. Not given the made up group of the BSA to pocket and laugh at the townsfolk and profit at our expense. This isn't land grab time.

NO NO NO... This is all wrong! STOP BUILDING SO MUCH IN A TOWN WHO'S ROADS CAN'T COPE. And another thing, DON'T SELL OFF SPORTS GROUNDS. Once it's gone there's no turning back, stop building on our green spaces. There are empty warehouses that can be turned into shops or, through change of use planning to housing within the town if you're so desperate to build.

Why not start a fundraiser so the people of Bicester can chip in and then you would all own the land cant do nothing then
