The developers have officially pulled their plans for the Oxford Road site. I am honestly stunned by this result and I fully recognize that none of this would have happened without the sheer persistence you all showed. Please keep keeping an eye on the land to ensure it stays protected …

We want to save Bicester Town's communal ground from developers who want to build on one of the only green spaces we have left in the town. Bicester is one of the fastest growing town's in Europe and has a green city status, we need to preserve this communal facility that is used by so many different groups other than just sport for now and for the future.

I honestly never thought we would reach one thousand signatures when I first started this. You have all turned a small idea into something that is impossible to ignore.

Half of the football pitches that I played on when i first came to Bicester in 1983 have disappeared. Bicester needs this facility to encourage and promote a sports culture for the generations to come. I am no nearer to knowing who or what the BSA is or does.

Best of luck with this !!! As a proud rugby following Welshman , I worked around the corner from the club and watched a few training sessions . The amount of junior kids training was a credit to the club , it would be very damaging if the club had to move !!!

As a primary school teacher, I am concerned by the ever-increasing amount of time children spend indoors. The last thing we need is for more outdoor spaces to be built on. Sports facilities need to be central so that everyone can access them.

We don't need more houses in the town. There are plenty going up on the outskirts in every direction. Garden Town means having green space in the town. Please leave it green for the growing population to use. We don't want to become a ghost town.

Bicester sports for Bicester community Say NO to developers! Needs looking into legally what the terms were when the land was given to Bicester community & who has taken decision to sell it? Do they have authority to do so under the convenants?

Bicester Town Football club needs to return to their home. It's great for the community to gather people from Bicester to support their local team. I have treasured memories, putting my boots on to play on that ground and I would hate to see it go.
