I use this PO daily and it is clear on my visits it’s vital importance to many members of the local community. It’s large queues would be horrendous transferred to within the WH Smith store!

We need this post office, it's always busy. Elderly people need somewhere easily accessible and central. If it's true that WH Smith is to have a counter in the store, it is too small.

My thoughts are with the elderly customers that visit every week just for a simple chat and their pension, some have no other reason to leave the house. The post office and the staff do much more for the community than you’d expect. Would be sad to see it go.

Beverley needs a Post Office in the town now. As a growing town it will need one even more. Please do not close our Post Office.

Seriously!! It is absolutely ridiculous to close this post office. Whoever has made this decision has clearly never used it as it is always busy. To think that setting up up a couple of counters in WHS is the answer is a fool.

This is Beverley’s only “main” Post Office and it is in the perfect place for Beverley and it’s surrounding residents. I only know of one other which is on the North side of Beverley so would not be convenient for many people. I cannot believe that anyone would consider shutting down this essential service, especially as the town is growing in size.
