This is what gives a place character, the preservation of its history.

Hold onto our history and culture. These are the places people want to see and visit - this is a community asset. Please preserve it. Thank you.

SHBC have successfully ruined Camberley over the last few years and replaced old buildings with modern eyesores. Eg The Duke of York. This must stop before all signs of the old town have gone completely.

Sad that the council does not protect some of the town's history.

This beautiful building should be saved as it is part of Camberley's heritage, if all these buildings are demolished Camberley will be so bland and no character

Please don't lose this piece of history for more generic "units" - let's keep some heritage.

The frontage on th a30 shouldbe saved and incorporated into any new development, if looked at it is attractive. On top of that the old Thai House and Bettys are part of our local heritage.

Must be saved too much of old Camberley/Frimley disappearing.

Stop...incorporate this historic building into the plans for Camberley.. there is no justification for demolishing.

Bizarre decision-making which would strip the town of a much loved building and restaurant. Think again please!

Please leave this beautiful building for future generations to enjoy. The future plans for Camberley appear to be totally modern with no place for historic buildings. Please protect this history and look further than the end of your noses.

This is disgraceful. Every city and town in England already looks the same as others so you should try and preserve old architecture.

Please save this wonderful building. I grew up in Camberley and still live nearby.

Maintain the historic architecture of Camberley, I still think it's such a shame that the jolly farmer pub no longer stands.
