This rink is the most used outdoor rink in Beaumont. Last year it was decided it will get a make over and now you planning to take it out?! Why?!! The rink is ALWAYS used during winter months not just the Bellevue school but the whole community. It is really not well thought of idea to get rid of it.

I get that plans change, but I am surprised and disappointed and call into question the City's commitment to their own goals, the heritage of Beaumont and any common sense in this decision. The Bellevue rink is used by literally hundreds of youth throughout the year, and is in an ideal central location, within walking distance from any neighbourhood. The land it sits on is of little to no use otherwise, and would be an inefficient waste of space. This reeks of bureaucratic myopia, not careful and thoughtful decisions being made for the good of the city.

Lived in Beaumont Since 1971
Used the outdoor rink as a 3 year old , while with the Beaumont Chiefs and now my son loves to go to ODR . Save it .... big part of Beaumont history :)

I don’t understand how this is even a consideration to get rid of it??!! My kids all love skating here & especially when it’s a school activity!!

My kids grew up at the rink and so many others still use it. Not to mention a drop in hockey program. The youth of Beaumont need free opportunities to do healthy things to keep them busy - this is one! Don’t take that away from them!!

Bellevue’s outdoor rink has been a staple of the town my entire life, and I’ve lived here 42 yrs. It should have whatever repairs made necessary and preserved for generations to come!!
