We, the undersigned, ask the Dryden Town Board to protect the rural character of our community as they pledged to do so during the last election.

We oppose Industrial solar coming to Dryden for the following reasons:

• The proposed solar instillation around Willow Glen Cemetery will harm one of Dryden's most the historically important and scared places.
• The proposed solar instillations off Turkey Hill and Dodge Rd will completely destroy this close neighborhood community as well as their wetlands and bird habitats.
• If not stopped the Town and County will continue with plans to cover nearly five thousand acres of prime farmland with solar panels in the next few years. This will have a devastating effect on farming, destroy our beautiful views, and make our rural community look like an industrial wasteland.
• The Town Board has raised our taxes for the past 3 years but publicly states their plans to give these Solar Corporations major tax breaks. Property owners and small businesses in the Town of Dryden pay their fair share in property tax, we should not be giving special treatment to the Industrial Solar Industry.

We ask the Dryden Town Board to not only stop their support of, but also reject, large-scale industrial solar development within the Town of Dryden.
