The CC is well used, well maintained and a pleasure to attend. Putting up housing will not only deprive us and our future generations of green space and recreational facilities, but will crowd the area, increase traffic and put pressure on water and sewers that were not designed for higher density. The proposed development has no upliftment value and is for selfish commercial gain of a few individuals.

The Benoni Country Club should be a Protected Green Lung in Benoni((Environmental Science) an area of parkland within a town or city, considered in terms of the healthier environment it provides).

Such sporting facilities should never ever be destroyed, these facilities are for the entire community and has been for many years. I am totally against development at Benoni Country club.

I most strongly object to any development on the grounds of the Country Club. I am sick and tired of park land and open spaces in our suburbs being sold off by the council for development. The greed of developers knows no bounds, do these people have any morals? We need to fight this with everything we have. Leave the Countyr Club alone!
