I cycle there at BCC often, enjoy the tranquility and safety of riding in the day or evenings. We need spaces like this, please don't develop this spot. It gives a lot of folks pleasure and relaxing time in the sun.

We believe that development of the last remaining greenbelt due to development is sacrilege, therefore we are strongly opposed to any development.

I strongly believe that this area is protected in terms of the National Heritage Act. It must be clearly stated why this land area must be destroyed in favour of development. Sustainable development does not include only a pillar of economical development but social and environmental. It should all three be regarded as in terms of section 2 of NEMA. Further the National Heritage Act is regarded as a SEMA of NEMA and therefore NEMA is applicable. Dont destroy what you will never ne able to rehabilitate or remedy. You cannot give back a destroyed heritage area.

The preservation of golf courses as part of a community's recreational facility is important to their overall mental and physical health.
