I am opposed to the sale and development of the Benoni Country Club. We need to maintain our green belts. Furthermore, the current infrastructure is under excessive strain as it is without adding further housing or estate development.

I was a squash and golf member for 32 years. My family loved the club and participated in all social and charity events. It would be a gross injustice if the clum was forced to close

The infrastructure cannot handle more development.
Where is the Ekurhuleni Council going to find money to upgrade the bulk infrastructure.

It would be a shame if this golf course were to be sold after such a long history not only for its members but the residents in the area. I have played this course for many years and enjoyed the experience. I am a member of Reading Country Club.
