The proposed development of the land that is currently occupied by the Benoni Country Club, whilst economically beneficial to the council and the proposed developers, is not beneficial to the citizens of Benoni, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng and South Africa at large.

The proposed development of the land that is currently occupied by the Benoni Country Club, whilst economically beneficial to the council and the proposed developers, is by NO MEANS beneficial to the citizens of Benoni, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng and South Africa at large. The club is a necessary for the growth and nurturing of social, family, cultural and economic ties for Benoni. Without the club, ALL OF THIS WILL BE LOST. Also, given the FACT that climate change IS HAPPENING, a green lung will be ripped out of the heart of Benoni and given over to concrete nothingness. NO TO DEVELOPMENT!!!!!
