There is no logic in this. The damage that will be done to these small businesses is irreparable. Once they are gone, they won't come back.

I like to stay at a Bed and breakfast when I come to Chicago, Please do not make this unaffordable.

B&BS provide a wonderful way to experience Chicago and the new 25% tax is unwise as well as unfair to these small businesses. This new higher tax would be a detriment to not only the B&BS but to the travelers who enjoy the personal touch and neighborhood experience when visiting Chicago. I don't want to change cities when I plan my nest meeting with old friends in Chicago!

As a former B&B owner, it is absurd to assess any B&B as you would a larger commercial facility. B&B's like most small businesses today are being pushed out of business by political red tape and taxing.

Having B&Bs in the neighborhood allows not-for-profit organizations to bring in out of town speakers within the budget allocation. The convenience as well as the comfort for them is truly appreciated.

Lovely B&B (Two Urns), would be a shame for Chicago to do this to small business owners

Please do not make it more difficult for Bed and Breakfasts to survive. They offer a wonderful service and a quality alternative to high-priced hotels. The Two Urns is spectacular with such caring and attentive owners.

I only stay at bed and breakfasts, because hotels lack character and integrity. Preserve the character and integrity of our county!

The City must stop actively trying to destroy small businesses. Raise taxes on large businesses, not small ones.
